HAFİZİYE MAH. KAZIM KARABEKİR BLV. NO:111/4 İPEKYOLU / VAN / TURKEY
The first step of education and training at Joyfull House starts with Playgroup... It is necessary to plan and implement the education programs to be followed in the 1.5-3 years old period, which is the first years of basic habits.
Our aim is to get out of the classical kindergarten patterns and to recognize, develop and direct the innate talents of children with the support of professional educators. With this understanding, our children do not spend all their days in one classroom. They receive training by rotating between specially equipped concept classes according to their branches.
We start the day with Yoga...
The Yoga Mini Project is the first and only yoga practice in Turkey, specially designed for children in kindergartens, child development centers and children's clubs.
In our specially prepared workshop, painting, model making, ceramics, batik, wood painting, puppetry, marbling making, recognizing and defining different materials are carried out in the company of educators with pedagogical formation, so that our children can freely express themselves so that they can discover and develop their hand skills.
Music studies are carried out with the orff method and practices aimed at revealing and supporting the rhythm feelings in children, ensuring the selectivity in musical sounds, contributing to the development of sound aesthetics.
There are studies in which children can reveal their creative potential, reinforce their self-confidence, express them with gestures, voices and facial expressions, and perform social simulations by playing various roles.
With the guidance of our expert educators, aiming to improve the awareness of joint work in order to provide a healthy body development and to direct the energy in the right places in children; ballet rhythm, stretching and various dance choreography studies are performed.
With movement and coordination trainings, we show our children to be conscious of sports, which is the most basic condition of a healthy life, at an early age, and that flexibility, speed, jumping, hand-eye coordination, individual and team sports activities and sports are an integral part of their lives.
High-Scope (Active learning), Gems (Science and Mathematics), Scamper (Different thinking) and Reggio Emilia (Learning by experience) training programs are implemented, which include experimental studies, environmental trips, grouping, matching, concepts and number studies that support cognitive development.
Planned or free games are played in the game class, which is equipped with house, block, puzzle, repair, climbing and moving game corners prepared in accordance with the Active Learning Education system.
Enjoyable games are played in the garden based on the motto 'There is no unsuitable weather, there is unsuitable clothing'.
Our education programs, which aim to acquire both mother tongue and English effectively, aim at interdisciplinary learning. Our students of all age groups ensure integrity in learning by learning the concepts they learn in their mother tongue, as well as in English, with the education programs prepared by considering their cognitive characteristics. In our schools aiming to raise bilingual children, we use the program of Claire Selby, a world-renowned English linguist, which is extremely useful in this field; “The bilingual future”. The aim of this program is to provide learning English in parallel with the mother tongue by using it in daily life both at home and at school from birth. “The bilingual future has adopted the main objective of both providing an investment in the development of each child individually, and raising individuals who are better equipped for the Turkish economy and social policy in the social sense. In an other saying; There is a definite relationship between bilingualism and real change in social standards. This program works perfectly in Poland, where Claire lives and is raising her own bilingual children.
The program perfectly supports both children and parents and teachers who do not speak English but want to help their children learn English. The home pack includes an animated series and more for kids to watch at home. Both the educational value and the graphic designs of this package were found to be very successful and were awarded at the Cannes television fair. It is also recommended that children watch these animation videos with their elders at home. In this way, adults can learn languages together with younger students.
Building a bilingual society takes a long time. However, English, a universal language, is becoming more and more important for the individuals of our country. Investing in bilingualism is both profitable for our country and an inevitable necessity for our society, which wants to achieve a better position on a global scale.
In this event, which creates the opportunity to get to know many concepts, our activities that start with getting to know kitchen materials in small groups with our children continue with the combination of different materials to create different tastes. Presentation is also very important for us.
Considering the developmental characteristics of our children, a coeducational program suitable for the developing age is applied in our school.
Active learning, known as 'learning by doing', is a form of learning where children develop new ideas and understandings by interpreting their experiences.
They are different thinking activities. It develops the skills of thinking differently, imagining, creating products by using creative thinking intuitions.
It is a high quality and flexible program that brings effective science and mathematics activities to the classroom.
The Reggio Emilia approach is educational work that activates the child and provides new information and different perspectives based on what they know.
In early childhood, rapid progress is made in all developmental areas.Based on this view, the necessary infrastructure has been created in every respect for the special preparation program suitable for the age of 6 in our school.
